I am searching for my birth parents... The information I’ve obtained thus far is they are of Romanian/Moldova/Germany/Hungarian decent. I’ve found out that a family immigrated to the US and their last names are ‘Schmidt/Schmied/Beglau/Kunusch/Stepanov’.
I also found out that there may have been another family that might have immigrated to Canada/USA and their last names are ‘Schwarz/Welty/Hamman/Mader/Hümer(Haters)/Black/Blacksmith/Smith/Smythe/Krumpholz’.... I am on Family tree DNA as well I uploaded to gedmatch as well...
I truly hope you see this...

297. WhyteRaven : Hello
I am searching for my birth parents. I (female) was born in Yorkton Saskatchewan on Feb 19, 1972. I was given a small note from my birth parents provided by the hospital when I was adopted. I was originally given the name Tanis. It was indicated that my parents were both in university. If I recall correctly it was also indicated that one or both were of Ukrainian ancestry. I am hoping to find one or both or siblings etc.
298. Wlacroix : I’m looking for the adoption of Shirley Lynn Hamilton, most likely in Saskatchewan.
I would also be looking for the adoption of Warren Hamilton by the same parents.
Adoptive parents were Ellen Hamilton and Gordon Hamilton.
299. Unknown1945 : Hello I’m looking for family that would have been related to my grandmother who was adopted in 1945. I don’t have a lot of info on the adoption my grandma never felt the need to look into it. My mom and I have been curious for a few reasons‚ so I can’t make any promises that there would be able to be any communication with her if we were to find eachother. (She’s stubborn lol) But that side of my family is fascinating to me.
She was born in Moose Jaw‚ Saskatchewan. Closed adoption most likely due to my grandmother never meeting or knowing
anything about her family. I might be able to find a birth name‚ but I’m not sure. She grew up in Sask for the majority of her childhood before moving to BC with her family. Her adoptive parents were named John Wilson and Pearl Pilbeam.
Please reach out if you even just have a question.
I was matched with my birth mother just minutes after setting up my profile. It turns out that she had been searching for me for years. It's been a joy to connect with her and the rest of my biological family.
