275. SJPeters : My adopted son was left by a woman, possibly his birth mother, in Regina, Saskatchewan. She left him with a babysitter for a weekend when he was 2 1/2 months old, but was never heard from again. We adopted him on his first birthday, which was believed to be around August 15, 1980.
The name of his birth mother may have been Shannon Parent and his birth father may have been Robert David MacIntyre. Our adopted son’s given names were Robert David.

My mother said my name at birth was Dan George Harrison, but there was nothing on paper to confirm that. I was adopted in Swift Current between 18 months and 2 years old. I am searching for my birth parents... The information I’ve obtained thus far is they are of Romanian/Moldova/Germany/Hungarian decent. I’ve found out that a family immigrated to the US and their last names are ‘Schmidt/Schmied/Beglau/Kunusch/Stepanov’.
I also found out that there may have been another family that might have immigrated to Canada/USA and their last names are ‘Schwarz/Welty/Hamman/Mader/Hümer(Haters)/Black/Blacksmith/Smith/Smythe/Krumpholz’.... I am on Family tree DNA as well I uploaded to gedmatch as well...
