After the child was born Annie was sent to Essex in England as the couple were not married and he was engaged to another. He asked my Mother to adopt but she could not as she was her Sister in Law living with her own husband and his family at the time and they would have found out that Annie had the child. All of the parents generations are now gone‚ but I would dearly love to find Annies lost son.

330. 307278 : Hi‚ I’m looking for a half sister‚ born after 1975. My birth mothers maiden name was Bridget (Margaret) Gallagher and she was known as Peig or Peg/Peggy. she lived in Drogheda in the mid 60s. She was a civil servant from about 1966 until about 1979 when she went back to Drogheda (possibly Mayo) and married in Ballintubber after 1975. her husband died in 2000 and she had four children‚ three sons and a daughter. We believe strongly that prior to her marriage‚ she had another child who was also put up for adoption. I was born in Dublin in 1967 and my sister Maggie was also born in 1974 in Dublin.
