She was born to Mary Ryan (b. 1921) in a mother and baby institution in Ireland in the mid 1930s -1940s approximately. We believe she was adopted by a Doctor and his wife and possibly moved to Scotland? We also believe that she did contact her mother years ago and met in England. She left me when I was 3 yrs old and refused to accept me despite seeing me at family gatherings several times throughout my life. It was only confirmed to me recently that I have an older brother. Without a name or date of birth it is almost impossible to search. I may now have a name and dob for him... just can’t be sure. I don’t know what else I can do apart from keep searching somehow. Our birth mother was Mary Theresa EGAN From Tipperary. I FOUND HIM… sadly deceased but his son and extended family are amazing. They have embraced and accepted me and we are all in contact.
