However, there was no adoption paperwork done. The birth certificate was registered under my adoptive parents names. It is making the search very difficult. I am female, born in Ireland on 16th July 1974. I was held in the adoption home on the Navan Road in Dublin with the Daughters of Charity (I think). I was adopted on 3rd August 1974. My Birth Mother asked for a photo of me with my siblings before she signed final papers. This is a picture of me in a pink dress sitting on a couch with my two brothers.My birth mother gave me a box containing personal items and dressed me before I was adopted. Would love to meet my birth parents and family.

193. Karimah : I am searching for my brother. He was born on the 5th of September 1981. He would have been placed for adoption straight after birth through a mother and baby home possibly in the meath area and possibly delivered in hollis street.
He would have been given up by a mother who’s family name was Byrne, from Carlow, his father might have been listed by the same name.
I was told maybe a year ago he was in the Dublin area. There is not alot to go on but hopefully some of this rings a bell.
