313. CarolOGrady : My Cousin was born Jan/Feb/Mar 1949 in Dublin. His Mother my Aunt was around 22 yrs old her name was Annie known as Nancy O’Grady. The family lived in Sandymount Dublin. My Mother gave me the information she had that Annie had a child in a private nursing home the Father John Madigan was a manager of a well know food manufacturing company in Dublin as far as I am aware. After the child was born Annie was sent to Essex in England as the couple were not married and he was engaged to another. He asked my Mother to adopt but she could not as she was her Sister in Law living with her own husband and his family at the time and they would have found out that Annie had the child. Annie died aged 27 in Essex England. My Mother had always wanted to find John‚ obviously would now probably have a different name. All of the parents generations are now gone‚ but I would dearly love to find Annies lost son.
