226. Malikulalam : My half-brother’s birth personal names were Lee Anthony. I don’t have documentary evidence of this but my late mother believed he was adopted by a couple who may have taken him to the United States. She believed the adoptive father was formerly in the US Airforce and Caucasian. The adoptive mother may have been of Korean descent but I cannot confirm this.
227. Martynpulham : Trying to find out details about my partner’s brother who was adopted at birth. He committed suicide in 1985. She has no option to find him now but would like to see photos and know about him etc.
Our son recently tragically committed suicide also. It’s important for us to know more about him as it’s very relevant to our understanding
Thanks
230. Albertedgar : My son’s name was SEAN MUNDAY. He was born by my fiancee at Brighton Maternity Hospital‚ Brighton‚ Sussex. This Hospital has been demolished‚ and the area now is occupied by a block of flats‚ close to Brighton Railway Station‚ possibly the Hospital was situated on Upper Gloucester Road.
We lived at a top flat in Norton Road‚ Hove‚ Sussex‚ and the baby was registered for birth at the Hove Registry Office.
In those days a baby was not welcome by many Landlords‚ my wage was not high and my fiancee after birth was transferred to what was termed as an unmarried womens with a baby Home‚‚ a horror for her. That was situated in Eastbourne Sussex
After that‚ the child was fostered by Mrs. Green of Parkside Road or Avenue in Littlehampton Sussex and we visited every week with my Mother‚ My father refused the baby or ourselves to live at my parent’s home‚ as I was in a low paid job‚ strains came into the relationship and we parted‚ I used to visit Sean on my own up until I was told‚ my son was being placed for adoption with the SOUTHWARK CATHOLIC SOCIETY IN LONDON‚ who handled his adoption‚ we were both non-practicing Catholics My x fiancee had only her name placed on the birth certificate‚ her first name was Joy and the second being from a catholic family was either Maria or Terresa and I never realized at the time‚ this removed any legal rights I may have had regarding my son.
I Have tried to locate Sean over the years even with the Society who had him adopted and going back to the foster parents’ address in Littlehampton but every measure was met with a stone wall. I am not sure if Sean’s mother is alive but she did live in Wallace Avenue‚ Worthing but we have had no contact in 50 + years.
Time and age wait for no one as they say or health and I would have liked to have known how Sean’s life turned out and thought‚ let’s try again‚ my age this month is with my health (had open heart surgery) is now against me‚ There are clauses in my Last Will that Sean shall be located‚ as he is a beneficiary to my estate‚ that become available upon my death only‚ there are no liquid assets. I have tried to be as informative as possible‚ if I can help any further please contact me. Thank you.

I was matched with my birth mother just minutes after setting up my profile. It turns out that she had been searching for me for years. It's been a joy to connect with her and the rest of my biological family.
