He was adopted, but no very little info. His mother was called Ann Elizabeth Brown
144. Reuben25 : my adopted son’s name was Sean, He was born ty fiancee on or around 17th December in the years 1963/64/65 in Brighton Maternity Hospital at Buckingham Road, Brighton, Sussex.England.
We had little money and hid the pregnancy from our parents, the Landlord at Norton Road Hove would not let us back with the baby and Sean’s mother had to go in a home for unmarried others in Eastbourne Sussex from there Sean went to foster parents a Mr and Mrs in Greenfield Avenue in Littlehampton Sussex.
Our relationship was falling apart with little work money or home living together and Sean’s mum was convinced by others to have the child adopted and this, though I tried to prevent this it went ahead and SEAN being a catholic as was his Mum was, I believe adopted via the Southwark Catholic Society in I believe London.I have tried over the years to locate Sean and used adoption search agencies but all to no avail and now time is against me with age/ health problems with open heart surgery etc. The mother of Sean is I believe still alive and living in Worthing Sussex, though again in her 70s,I shall not mention her name or address because of the nature of this and her own life , Sean may have searched for us but because in those times getting a girl pregnant with our family and the way of life then was a no no situation, even though Seans came from a 3-year rock-solid relationship that could not survive with the circumstances of the time we were in and we used different names at our rented flat etc because of our situation,Thank you.
145. LydiaS80 : I am looking for my adopted brother Timothy. Our mother is Sharon Andrina Morton. My mother was born in 1949. She was approximately 18 years of age when she had Timothy. I believe the adoption took place through the Chichester diocese.
148. Minesweeper : My husband was the birth father. I have no knowledge of birth mother’s name or adoption agency.
We had a son many years later. Our son had DNA testing completed thru 23 and me.
There is a half sibling somewhere who has a half brother and sister. Time to connect and figure out the rest of the pieces.
All the best.
