We share the same father who is Brian Couse and my brothers mother was called Susan Wilson who I now believe is called Susan Lyth. Both parents were from the Cleveland area at the time. 123. Katef : My fathers birth name was Douglas Cruttenden. He was born 13/03/1948 I think in Taunton and was given up for adoption. He was adopted by Basil and Grace French. I believe his mothers name was Daphne May Cruttenden from what my father found out before he passed away. She later married and had children so I would like to see if I have any living relatives.

A later copy of his birth certificate says that he was born in Worthing, West Sussex on May 22, 1931 and that his birth name was Derek Potter Carr. My father’s birth mother is named on that copy of the birth certificate as Ruby Carr. It also noted that in the certificate that at that time Ruby Carr was, "a teacher of Dancing" and resided at "32 Wallace Avenue, Worthing".
