When Mum was conceived (May 1943) Joan was in the WAAF and may have been posted in St Athens‚ South Wales. Joan was born and lived most of her life in Lazonby‚ Cumbria‚ UK. She gave birth to Mum in February 1944 in Liverpool‚ where her father Charles was living at the time. My Mums birth name was Coral Ann Travis.
