A Few of Our Members Currently Searching Within Warwickshire Who Chose To Be Featured
256. Tracyeades : my mother was named frances Eades and was 21 years of age my father was a Colin Appleton who was 33 years of age , already having fathered children.
my mother lived at 68, emscote road Warwick with my grandparents. I have sought counselling and come to a dead end as neither have put themselves on the contact registers I have put myself on there.
I am led to believe that they stayed together and married in 1975 and continued to have more children which would mean I have blood brothers or sisters.
257. Macmanussligo1934 : Hi im looking for my birth mother, her name is Linda Irene Hendry, i believe she was a hairdresser at the time of my birth in lambeth.
261. McHoll : We are looking for Paul Holland born on 10th March 1965 in the Ealing area.
We have only recently learned of his birth and adoption.
We would be grateful for any information on him.
Thank you.
262. MelanieG1962 : My half sister was born Carol Christine Hardy on 8 April 1945 in Birmingham, mothers name Maisie Doreen Hardy. After 6 weeks in a mother and baby home she was adopted possibly into the wider family. Would love to find her
264. DEarl2021 : Looking for Martin Wayne Hartley, I believe his name was changed at birth at the request of the adoptive parents. It would appear he was adopted 6 days after his birth in February 1973
The birth certificate suggests that the adoption took place in Warwickshire and Martin was adopted to parents who later moved to Scotland.
265. Holly1ne2 : Mother, Pamela Alicia Catherine Willmott, was born in India in 1922 and returned to the UK in 1936. In 1946 she married Joseph Masterson in Birmingham. Within a few years she had simply walked out on the family but did stay in and around Birmingham. She had another son who was adopted out in 1953 but for the purposes of this search I have chosen the younger son. On the birth certificate the individual is given the name Jeremy Lew. Also she is identified as Pamela Alicia Catherine Jones, formerly Masterson and Willmott.
266. LindaCampion : Beryl Carter gave birth to Clive Martin Carter at 134 Heathfield Rd Birmingham hospital. She was forced to give him away due to the fact she had no way to support him.
Her husband died‚ went overboard in 1958‚ they had two daughters. She had an affair in 1961 with Jack Murray a married man and not on the scene as he had a wife and children. She gave him her married name of Carter.
He was two weeks old and he left the hospital with a Mr and Mrs Stanley‚ who were too old to adopt legally we believe. Beryl changed her mind a few weeks later however when she saw how much the couple loved him she left broken hearted without him. We don’t know if he was legally adopted. She went back sometime later but the couple had moved away‚ overseas maybe?
She eventually went to Australia and looked for him afterwards with no luck. Sisters Linda And Christina looking for him now as Beryl passed away.
268. MaiMhambo : Birth father Colin HORSFIELD [DNA verified] - served British Army 27+ years from c1959 in various postings including overseas & latterly in Special Forces. BUT eventually based in / retired to Preston Lancashire. Has known legitimate children and his wife believes him have 5+ illegitimate children, some adopted [like myself] and some not [like my DNA identified half sibling] - so there are at least 3 others ’out there’. The online form only allows a limited range of years but quite simply these children could be born into the 1980s. So very general and not very helpful overview.
270. Carolathedoor : Mother Annie Ellen Naylor late Johnson and formerly Ward. Birmingham, Aston area.
Mother passed away child placed in a local orphanage.
I was matched with my birth mother just minutes after setting up my profile. It turns out that she had been searching for me for years. It's been a joy to connect with her and the rest of my biological family.
