646. Emmainbasra : I’m searching for the biological parents of my paternal grandmother Jacqueline Sylvia Hasler “Sylvie”. She was adopted by Cecil Hasler and his wife Violet Purchase. I have no adoption date. Sylvia was likely born in October 1930. Her adoption is recorded on her marriage certificate to my paternal grandfather Robert Barber. Sylvie told some of her children she grew up in an orphanage‚ I’m not sure how true this was as she was estranged from her father. The location would likely have been Erith‚ Dartford‚ Crayford‚ Belvedere areas. Certainly south east London. Thank you. Emma
647. AX4Mum : Hi I'm the son of an adoptee‚ I'm looking on behalf of my mother Carole Ann Finn‚ born in Pembury‚ Kent‚ England‚ 27th February 1958‚ I don't have any more detail than that‚ I have provided my DNA on ancestry and willing to share. My mum was adopted by Derrick and Gene Mason‚ I believe my mum was adopted when she was a teenager but om not 100% sure on that‚ I might of misheard that.
650. Kslater439 : I am looking for my half brother‚ born Nigel Slater probably around October 1948 in South Africa to English parents. The family returned to England by ship when Nigel was about 3 months old and lived near Birmingham. His birth parents were Ethel (nee Forrester) and Terry Slater‚ and Nigel had an elder sister named Ann. I am not sure how old Nigel was when he was adopted out of the family.

657. Hkbc : Hello‚
My uncle Ian was adopted into my family in late 1953 or early 1954. We believe he was born in birmingham. Sadly he passed away in 2010. Very difficult with very limited information but keep wondering if someone might be looking for information about him.

659. Wakeling-Saunders71 : Been looking for over 40years for my biological father. I’m told his name is John Saunders and was in England somewhere outside of London when I was born on October 5‚ 1971 as Andrew Wakeling in Bromley‚ Kent. I was given up for adoption by my biological mother Kathleen Wakeling (birthday April 16) who is in her 70’s and goes by Kathy Calder. She was in her early 20s when she gave me up‚ and went by Kathy Wakeling. Kathleen wants nothing to do with me and only told me my father’s name was John Saunders. No hometown‚ birthday or any identifying information. I know John dated Kathy in the 1970’s in England and wanted to marry her and be a father to “Andrew‚” but Kathy wanted none of that. So here I am 54 years later still looking for my real dad‚ John Saunders.
I was matched with my birth mother just minutes after setting up my profile. It turns out that she had been searching for me for years. It's been a joy to connect with her and the rest of my biological family.
