631. Bottrillbengey04 : I am trying to trace my fathers ancestry. His father was Charles Ernest Bengeyfield formerly Charles Ernest Allen before adoption (his Christian names may be reversed). He is believed to have been born in 1902 in Basingstoke‚ Hampshire‚ although he could have been born in 1900. He died in July 1963. The 1911 Census shows Charles Allen at age 8 as a visitor to Louis Bengeyfield of 26 Morgan Road‚ Bromley‚ Kent so we assume his adoption took place after 1911 but before 1919 when he enlisted in the Royal Tank Corp aged 17. He has a previous regiment of 13th Hussars but little has been found of this. I am looking to find out about what happened to his mother and father and why he was adopted.
633. Clairesawyerr : Hi‚ I’m looking for my aunt as are my mum and aunt are looking for their sister. We didn’t find out about her until after my nan passed away.

I was very young but I always remember writting to you and wondering if we will ever meet. My auntie tasha which was your birth mother unfortunately passed away which was why the adoption took place‚ it’s been extremely difficult as I have been told little knowledge reason for not exact birthday. I have reason to believe that she may have been in the Maidstone area when we still have letter contact but would like to finally know where and who you are. You have other siblings which have had children of their own. I’m have close contact with your youngest siblings

645. Emmainbasra : I’m searching for the biological parents of my paternal grandmother Jacqueline Sylvia Hasler “Sylvie”. She was adopted by Cecil Hasler and his wife Violet Purchase. I have no adoption date. Sylvia was likely born in October 1930. Her adoption is recorded on her marriage certificate to my paternal grandfather Robert Barber. Sylvie told some of her children she grew up in an orphanage‚ I’m not sure how true this was as she was estranged from her father. The location would likely have been Erith‚ Dartford‚ Crayford‚ Belvedere areas. Certainly south east London. Thank you. Emma
I was matched with my birth mother just minutes after setting up my profile. It turns out that she had been searching for me for years. It's been a joy to connect with her and the rest of my biological family.
