332. MelissaCouse02 : Hello there‚
My name is Melissa and I am trying to find my brother who was adopted.
We share the same father who is Brian Couse and my brothers mother was called S Wilson.
Both parents were from the Cleveland area at the time.
I believe my brother was born 1974-1979 possibly September time and possibly named Steven/Stephen although the name Daniel has also been mentioned this is not 100%. I do believe some of the information that was shared may be false so my brother couldn’t be found. If you think this could be you‚ please‚ please get in touch I would love to get to know you and finally meet my older brother.
333. Vgm68 : Looking for my birth father who I believe had a relationship with my Mum from the end of 1967. Mum was Mary Christine Archer who lived in Dorset Avenue, Welling Kent. I was born in Woolwich and adopted by my birth mum and her husband in 1971.
Birth fathers surname is possibly Weedy or using the name Robson. Also looking for any possible half siblings.
334. Mummylou : Looking for paternal father‚ was told he moved back to New Zealand‚ Birth Mother was called Mary Knight
We now know his name was Lawrence and think he worked on p&o ferries
335. Britgirl : Looking for my nephew who was born in Kent 1973‚ September to a single mother . Believe he could have been adopted to afamily in Essex not 100% sure
336. Sandrajirving1960 : I am searching on behalf of my mum who now lives in Canada. She would like to find her first born son. Her name is Sandra Jackson Irving and came to Gillingham from Glasgow in 1960 to give birth. The father’s name was Roy Sharp also from Glasgow I believe. He wanted nothing to do with the birth so my mum was on her own and with the potential difficulties in Glasgow at the time decided it was best to come to Gillingham to have the baby. She was 22 years old at the time and met the birth parents while she was pregnant. They were a few years older than her - perhaps in their 30’s. She said they were very nice and she felt she was giving her son the chance of a stable, loving environment to grow up in. It hurt her greatly though to do so. She was only able to hold her son for a short while after birth before the adopted parents took him - as was agreed. He was born in July - she thinks early July but isn’t entirely sure. She also thinks it may have been at the Medway Naval Hospital - again though not entirely sure. My mum will be 83 years old in January and the son she had to give up so painfully will be 60 next July. She buried this for many years (due to feeling ashamed - as well as also feeling that it would be best for her adopted child to not have his life disrupted by her searching for him) and only told myself and my 2 younger brothers that we have a half brother 2 years ago. It would make her very happy to make contact and to know that her first born son had a good life.
337. Sarahadams65 : I had my son adopted I called him Lee but when he was adopted they called him Thomas and kept Lee as the middle name. Thomas was born in Margate hospital he went to a lady called Julie mead for 1-2 months before he was adopted.. I wrote a letter for Thomas that he was meant to be given on his 16th birthday. He was not allowed to be adopted by anyone who lived in Broadstairs or Gravesend. Kent county council would have been the adoption agency.
338. Grif67 : I am the maternal grandmother of the twins and cared for them for the first three years of their life. We lived in Barnes‚ Richmond. They were born in west Middlesex Hospital in Hounslow. Their birth mother is Jasmine Griffin. Their names are Julius and Amiyah Griffin. The placing agency was achieving for children.. As of 2017 they were registered at Selhurst medical practice in Croydon. The final adoption hearing took place at Bromley family court.
Julius has bilateral hearing loss and SEND.

341. Ned2328 : Arthur Cunningham the Younger was born at Kent and Canterbury Hospital on 12th February 1958. He was the eldest illegitimate child of Arthur Cunningham the Elder and Brenda Ann Ford, who already had two young sons with her estranged first husband. Arthur the Younger was adopted as a baby, following which his parents had four more children before they split up in the ‘60s.
I was matched with my birth mother just minutes after setting up my profile. It turns out that she had been searching for me for years. It's been a joy to connect with her and the rest of my biological family.
