Phillips family took Cyril in and later provided him with employment we think they grew vegetables/flowers. We have his birth certificate that states his birth mother was Elizabeth Annie Roberts and born in Ellesmere Shropshire. No father is stated on the birth certificate.

This is the address of June Pingram (nee Moore) at her parents house. Parents being: Ada Moore and Charles Moore of the same address. Baby possibly called Christopher. Taken away immediately for adoption by midwife called nurse Derbar (not sure of spelling) who lived at 28 Levetts Road.

I believe her adoption was overseen by the Lichfield Diocesan Society and finalised in November of the same year. It’s my understanding that her first name was unchanged by her adoptive parents.
