155. Amytooth1986 : I am looking for my brother who was adopted before his 1st birthday. In the area of Staffordshire. The only information I know is he was born in July 1991 and his name was Jack. I can remember seeing photos of him that were sent to my mother for a few years after he left us. I am his oldest sister and we have two other sisters. My mother has deceased however I am looking to reunite with my biological maternal family. The evidence suggests that he was the result of an affair with an American forces person, who was stationed somewhere in the area. This man was a person of colour and my sister and I have established dna links to African American cousins in the USA. Dad was adopted in March 1946, possibly in Birkenhead. His name was changed to Kenneth McCabe. His adoptive parents were Billy and Lucy McCabe nee Gibson. They lived in Robinson Street, Edgeley, Stockport. Hopefully someone can provide a bit more information such as a name or a picture.
