386. RobHDouglas : I have been doing genealogy research on my family and MyHeritage.com sent me a 'discovery' for a Michael Greenhalgh borh on 17 July 1963 to an Elaine Ann Greenhalgh. The family tree shows Elaine's birth name as Elaine Douglas with her parents as Robert Douglas and Cecily Douglas‚ who are my parents. That would make Elaine my sister or half sister and Michael my nephew or half nephew. I would like to find out why Michael shows my parents as his grandparents as I had not heard of another sibling or half sibling. My parents are dead as are my two sisters so there is no one else to ask!

387. RobHDouglas : I have been doing genealogical research on my family. MyHeritage.com sent me a discovery of a family tree of a Michael Greenhalgh‚ born 17 July 1963 in Yorksshire (subsequently adopted‚ under what name I do not know) and he shows his birth mother‚ on his birth certificate Elaine Ann Greenhalgh‚ as Elaine Douglas with Robert Douglas and Cecily Douglas as her parents. Those are also my parents so‚ if the tree is accurate she is my sister or half sister. I was not aware of any sister or half sister but I suspect she was born late 1944 early 1945 during the war when my father was in India and my mother was in Co Durham. She was almost certainly then adopted. It would be good to know what happened and if I have a sister and nephew out there. My parents and other sisters are no longer alive. Thanks.

388. NonnaLooli : I think the baby boy would have been born in Bridlington in either 1945 or 1946 in an hospital or a mother and baby home or even at her aunts home. The family name given was probably Hornsby. We don’t know a first name. We don’t have any information on his date of birth or his adoption date. We have reason to believe this baby boy came looking for his mother (my aunt) in Staines‚ Surrey about 20 years ago‚ give or take. She was not living there anymore but he was given the telephone number of my father who spoke to his mother. Sadly she didn’t feel she could talk to him. She has now passed away and we have information we would like to share with him about his father Albert Drew. We would love to find him‚ if he would still like to find family members.

389. AngieA : I am looking for my half brother‚ Michael. He was born to Thomas & Elizabeth Smith in Leeds in 1952 or 1953. He was adopted by Jenny ? & ? . Elizabeth and Jenny kept in touch and Jenny sent photo's of Michael. I am your half sister‚ Angie. We moved to Australia in 1968. I found out about you in 1973‚ but Mum did not want us to try and find you‚ as she had made a promise to Jenny. Mum has since passed and I would love to find you.

390. Rebekahhayne96 : I’m looking for my Brother‚ who I’ve known about my whole life‚ but my Mum could never gather the courage to find him. Somethings has changed in our life’s‚ I feel it’s time I do it for her.
