114. Jazmadz123 : My child was born in Whitby hospital. I had no contact with her . I left hospital the next day and the adoptive parents had her straight from there. My name was Deborah mason at the time. The adoption was organised by social services in Whitby. She was born at around 11pm and I named her Rebecca but the new parents renamed her Beth. The only contact I had was a letter from the parents with 4 photographs a few months after the adoption. ( no surnames or address) the new parents were called Steve and Imelda‚ she was going to be the one working and he was to be the stay at home dad. That’s all I know about them . I’ve had no contact since with them and just after the adoption I passed a letter to social services as requested by social services along with photos of myself and family to be given to the child when she was told of her adoption. I have no idea if she received the info I provided .

This may be the name of herself prior to adoption or possibly the name of her birth mother.
120. Sophiieesticated : Hi, I’m looking for my sister, my mum named you Susan when you were born but I don’t know if that is even your name anymore. You were adopted in 1980 in Yorkshire, past that I know little else although I wish I knew more. I don’t know if you are searching for a biological sibling, or if you even interested in meeting me but I don’t wish to close that door for you. So I would like to leave it open in case you ever come looking. My mother’s surname was Smith and she was only 15 at the time of your adoption and birth. She moved away soon afterwards and once she was an adult went on to have three more children, I am the youngest. If you are searching please know that I want to know you, whatever you are searching for I hope I can help. If you only wish to talk once and have closure I hope I can help, if you are searching for a sister then I hope I can be that for you. Love A sister seeking a sister.
