275. Cath8681 : My Biological mother was Irene Smith. George Wright is on my birth certificate but this was my mother’s husband, not my father, they married in 1949. I contacted George when searching for my mother in the late 1980s, she had died. He told me I had two half brothers Ken (1949) and Denis (1950), his biological children. I was the result of an affair. He said I may have other full siblings, but didn’t give me any more information. When George passed away I was contacted by Ken who said there was at least one other child. We lost touch but I always wondered. I did some research on Ancestry - there were three possible siblings born in the Darlington Area, County Durham listed as Wright with mother Smith: Kathleen M Wright b.1951, Christine Wright 1957, Derek E Right 1957. I was born Jean Wright 1955. My name was changed by my parents and I’m Susan Jean I’d be interested in getting in touch, I’ve tried in the past but always drawn a blank.
