268. Aleera013 : My adopted son Steven has asked me to attempt to find his birth mother for him. The adoption procedure was carried out with North Yorkshire County Council and commenced in February 1986.
The mother’s name was Julie Ann Lockey And was born on 21st February 1967.
Her father was born in Bardon, near Leyburn in the Yorkshire Dales and I believe he was a Farmer and lived on a farm in that area when Steven was born.
Julie’s mother was born in Doncaster.
We know very little else about the family.
I was matched with my birth mother just minutes after setting up my profile. It turns out that she had been searching for me for years. It's been a joy to connect with her and the rest of my biological family.
