Married name PUDDICOME

Aparently came from Leeds originally but was brought up in Shoreditch East London.
287. MaiMhambo : Birth father Colin HORSFIELD [DNA verified] - served British Army 27+ years from c1959 in various postings including overseas & latterly in Special Forces. BUT eventually based in / retired to Preston Lancashire. Has known legitimate children and his wife believes him have 5+ illegitimate children, some adopted [like myself] and some not [like my DNA identified half sibling] - so there are at least 3 others ’out there’. The online form only allows a limited range of years but quite simply these children could be born into the 1980s. So very general and not very helpful overview.
289. Melclifflin : Florence Sissons maybe adopted mother. Birth records of my gran have her down as Florence beatrice scales and on one record her names is misspelt as sealer, she married John Reginald hague in holy trinity baptist Church cudworth barnsley yorkshire
290. Annaapp : I am searching for my father’s birth mother or any relation to her. She was from Ireland, I’m not sure what part. When she found out she was pregnant she moved to Bradford, England. She kept my father until he was around 8 months old. I know her name and know a wider story.
292. DeborahG25 : My Mum was born in York in 1949 and was adopted. She never knew her adoptive mother and believed it was because of the stigma of unmarried mothers at that time and was accepting of this. She had a happy childhood with her adoptive parents and brother.
She unfortunately died of cancer aged 32 leaving two children behind myself and my brother.
I was curious of our family history initially for health reasons but with 23&me I discovered I was half Dutch which would indicate my mother was of 100% Dutch origin, specifically South Holland.
I always felt it would be best left alone and not to look for my Mum’s family given they may not know she was born or the news of her death may be too much. Over time I have wondered whether there is a family member who really wants to know so this is why I am posting on here.
293. Susie45 : I would love to meet you and tell you about your father who did not want you to be adopted and other siblings. Your birth registration name was William Stephen Bambrook.
294. Michelle150499 : My mother is called Helen

She has a brother called Samuel Staton but not sure if they are in contact. I would love to find my daughter as I spend everyday wondering, missing and loving her.
297. Ruth_Barnard1986 : Looking for my daughter, at birth I think she was called Petrina Sparrow but I cannot be certain of this as I was never allowed to meet you or know any details. All I know is that you were a little girl and you were adopted. Your birth Mum was Shirley Sparrow nee Ramsbotham. You were born in Norwich 1971. My name is Nigel John Barnard, I was 20 years old when you were born. I’d love to find you!
298. AlyxOLG : I am trying to find my mother’s biological parents (with her permission). She was born in North Riding (Yorkshire) in 1967. Her adoptive parents were living in Wiltshire at the time of adoption.
She was potentially called Marie by her birth parents.
299. Zoex33 : Hi Iam Zoe I feel now it the right time to reach out the my birth parents as feel ready to meet them. My name before adoption was Susan McGeogh Feb 1974 in North Yorkshire
My birth mother was Margaret elizabeth Mcgeogh
300. Dwarfbread : I am looking for twins called Elizabeth and Richard. They were born around 1944 to my maternal grandmother Eileen Merrill/Kay and we believe adopted by a family called Holmes. They have 2 younger sisters and a younger brother who have only just discovered they exist and would dearly love to meet them.
I was matched with my birth mother just minutes after setting up my profile. It turns out that she had been searching for me for years. It's been a joy to connect with her and the rest of my biological family.
