180. QuintonR1210 : Born in Provincial Hospital - Stanford Clinic. Born as Anton Coetzer on 12th October 1977. Adopted on 11 September 1978. Started looking into my biological parents in 2012. Went to CMR to find out more. Unfortunately not much was verified‚ only that my biological mother was from the Dordrecht district in the Eastern Cape. We only knew that she was a nurse at this point and had two brothers. I then did a DNA test to try and find out more about my father's side. I only found cousins on both sides and no real clues to my parents. All we were told was that my grandmother had a hold on my mother's decisions. I started contacting my cousins‚ and only found them to be related‚but nothing closer to my parents. I then decided to do an addtional DNA test to find real closer relationships. I found clues and these were later verified that my biological mother is from a small town and was a nurse. She's married and has two children ( a daughter and son). I tried to reach out to her‚ but no response to any messages. I have informed her that my DNA is on database and that people will start cming forward to ask questions. I eventually found another cousin on my father's side‚ which eventually led me to my sister‚ whom was surprised at first. We speak now on a daily basis Mother: Frederika Johanna Coetzer 10 MAY 1956 lived in Dordrecht‚ Eastern Cape‚ South Africa Grand parents: Susanna Dorothea Aletta and Wentzel Christoffel Coetzer‚ my birth name as Anton Coetzer on the adoption court paper. Changed to Quinton Roos in 1978 when adoption went through.
