300. C4mpo : Mary Georgina Webber I have been looking into my grandmothers birth Mary Georgina Webber on behalf of my father who recently passed away. My father was unable to find much documentation with regards to his mother’s birth as he only found out later in life that his mother was adopted by James Henry Webber and Georgina Moon who resided at 20 Fleet Street‚ Keyham‚ Plymouth. PL1 1BX. I do have a copy of Mary’s Baptism in Cornwall but no birth or adoption certificate. My grandfather was in the Navy prior to his death said my grandmother had no birth certificate as she was adopted/illegitimate and the navy had to get one for her. According to my grandmothers passport‚ she was born on Nov 1916 in Tetbury‚ Gloucestershire but this could however be made up. Anything you can find on this would be greatly appreciated. I would like to try and solve this mystery for my Dad. Kind regards Neil Campion
