276. Suelep : I am looking for my twin brother and sister‚ born in Canada under the name of McKinnon in 1958 who were separated and both adopted out in the US
277. LadyLeaRN : My sister was born in Hollywood Presbyterian hospital in California & adopted at birth & taken to Alaska immediately as far as im told.
278. MarissaCollins : I’m not sure which day or state she was born in. My grandfather handled the entire birthing and adoption process. So my mother who was 14 at the time was taken to many different states and she doesn’t know the day or place she gave birth at. I’ve been searching for her ever since I learned of her. My mother was told she passed and I’d like to find out if it’s true or not.
281. Nomadic60 : My adopted birth certificate says Hermiston‚ OR.
No hospital there‚ born in a Chiropractors house. Delivered by R W Peterson. We searched for that name & happened upon the obit. of a Dr. Kenneth Dean Peterson‚ also a chiropractor of Hermiston. My wife was taken aback by how many similar facial features we share.
I was adopted by Mr. & Mrs. Heitman as an infant "at the last minute"...at 2 weeks old. One of the stories that I was told was that Mr. & Mrs. Robert "Bob" Blackburn were set to adopt me before but Juanita became ill with MS.
Juanita Blackburn was my 7th Day Adventist teacher up until I went to musical kindergarten. I knew them as "Uncle Bob" and "Aunt Juanita".
Dr. Kenneth Dean Peterson’s wife or sister is related to Uncle Bob’s sister or wife‚ possibly my God-parents‚ bc she was married to a Dr. Frank G. Spaulding (my godfather) also a Chiropractor who was in Alaska. Dr. Kenneth Dean Peterson also visited my God parents & there is even proof of the big Peterson family Alaska trip.
Uncle Bob showed a lot of interest in me. He worked for my father.
I’m curious if Dr. Kenneth Dean Peterson is actually my father or my uncle. Thank you! Gratitude. #AncestryDNA
283. AOwen87 : My Father met a lady in St Pete Florida a couple years before I was born (1987). My Fathers name is Randall aka Randy Owen he and my uncle Geoff had a fling with the lady and I am unsure if the brother is question may be my sibling or my cousin but I want to know. Last I remember my Dad saying is the lady took off with the boy and gave him up for adoption I think in Louisiana or Georgia I’m not sure. I do know it was a closed adoption.
I was matched with my birth mother just minutes after setting up my profile. It turns out that she had been searching for me for years. It's been a joy to connect with her and the rest of my biological family.
