I was told that he wasn’t adopted right away, but lived at an orphanage there for 1-3 years possibly, at first. I was told that his father was an American military soldier, and his mother a young Okinawan Native girl. He was adopted by an American military family (Air Force branch) in Japan, and brought over to the USA in 1957. He was listed on that manifest as being a Japanese dependent of my grandfather. His adopted name is Gary Gould, adopted by Louis A. Gould and Nellie (Heath) Gould. I do not know the original name on the birth certificate.

His Birth mothers name was Ayska Otsu but remarried on April 9th 1956 (to a Seitaro Fujiwara) and changed name to Ayska Fujiwara. His biological father is listed on family register as "unknown" My father was adopted by Husband, Cornelius E. Fullwood and wife, Jewell Fullwood (both American citizens) on December 25 1958. My fathers name was then changed to Calvin Edward Fullwood. Copy of family register states that my father was born at 125 Go, #31, Aza Shirihikimaeyama, Ichikawa-mura, sennoe-gun Acmori-Ken on 29 April 1953 report on birth received from Ayako Otsu, mother, by Mayor of Ichikawa Village on 22 may of the same year.
