To sign the adoption papers. My name on the adoption papers is Kayo Urasoe‚ which has no connection to my birth mother. I have identified my birth father through Ancestry.com. His name is Franklin Sobinc but may have gone by John Sobin.

As per a translation of my adoption paperwork‚ I am the second daughter of Todo and Kimiko Yamanaka.
I was born at 95-banchi‚ Minami Sumiyoshi-cho 3-chome‚ Sumiyoshi-ku‚ Osaka-shi.
I was adopted in 1972. As I recall‚ I lived in a Catholic Orphanage in Osaka. I think I had two sisters also at the orphanage.

I was brought to my adoptive parents in America on July 29th‚ 1998.

The attorney in charge of me was Thomas Fitzgerald. I stayed from 1963-1967. I was adopted a year after I was born but didn’t leave the orphanage until 1967.
