108. SemiPelagianist : My half sister is Caucasian (possibly mixed with African American but not sure) but was born in Japan. My Mom was 16 and staying with her sister and brother in law in Japan when she had her baby. I think! I am so fuzzy on so many of the facts. She may have been 18. I think it was probably 18. Her brother in law was in the Air Force and so she was staying with them at a military base. I think her daughter was adopted by a family that was also on the base. Maybe someone involved has the first name Lynn? I must sound like a doddering old man but I’m a peppy 52. The sad news I have is that our mother died in 1980 of colon cancer. But I think it’s possible that‚ if we met‚ even though our mother isn’t with us‚ we might feel some intangible sense of ease at meeting another person that feels similar to us. Or not. Who knows? At any rate I hope we meet.
109. Vyoshimura : I was dropped off at the Elizabeth Saunders home which is located at 1152 Oiso‚ Naka District‚ Kanagawa 255-0003‚ Japan around 1963. I was there from 1963-1967. My name given to me was Haru. Miki Sawada was my legal guardian during this time. The attorney was Thomas Fitzgerald who helped me get adopted.

Txbuffalokid : I have located my birth father so actually only interested in finding my birth mother who gave me up for adoption in Okinawa after the Army reassigned my birth father when learned of my birth. I was born in Naha Okinawa. I was originally named Lucy Littrell but was renamed when adopted. Unfortunately‚ my birth father does not remember my birth mother’s name.

,2 older brothers: Naganobu (born: 1/18/1956) & Nagahiro (born: 4/20/1967).
,3 older sisters: Yoshimi (born: 9/15/1958)‚ Yukie (born: 8/23/1961) & Chieko (born: 3/8/1965)
,Maternal grandparents: Mitsumi & Ushi Kinjo
(I tried my best to translate my koseki from Japanese to English by mostly using Google Translate & the very little Japanese I could read and understand.)
Other facts about me that might also help:

,My adoptive family raised me to be proud of my Okinawan heritage. I grew up listening to mostly Okinawan music & took Okinawan dance lessons as a child. I picked up on a few Okinawan words from listening to my adoptive mother and family members.
I took a 23and me DNA test years ago but had no luck finding any close relatives. So I hope I’ve provided enough for you to help find my birth family. I also hope they are healthy and doing well.
117. Hiko : Probably a VERY long shot attempt but giving this a fair shake. Chances in my case feel a lot slimmer being that other than the very general information I do have‚ there's really not much to go on‚ especially since it crosses international borders. What also doesn't help is the fact that whatever information I do have is third‚ fourth hand and mostly hearsay from what limited knowledge my adoptive mother knew about my birth parents that was told me when I was a child.
And since the hospital I was supposedly born in in Tokyo is no longer there (probably including any records‚ if any even existed for adoptions back then)‚ making the task feel even more impossible.
I can only submit as much information that I can‚ including my DNA results from Ancestry.com and keep my fingers crossed that it will result in some sort of lead to getting even a bit of closure on the wonder and mystery of where I came from.
119. Kimberlywunsche : I am not sure where the adoption took place. Possibly Texas. The mother was living in Houston for most of her life. Was born in Birmingham Alabama. However the child was born a US Citizen born abroad. The male child was born at the 49th General Hospital US Army Tokyo Japan. Birthday is June 18‚ 1947. Birth mother is Elizabeth Trimble Levens Adams.
120. RebeccaBurns1958 : Located birth mother but she died years ago. Her name was Teru Nakajima or Nakashima and she was from Kyoto Japan. At time of her death she had a brother who reported it. According to registry she never married or had any other children.
I was told biological father was military. After DNA completed I was matched to first cousin with last name of Estep.
I was matched with my birth mother just minutes after setting up my profile. It turns out that she had been searching for me for years. It's been a joy to connect with her and the rest of my biological family.
