215. CyndiGiles : I was born in King Edward Memorial Hospital in Perth‚ WA. My Mother listed on the birth certificate was Joy Edith Newman. I have recently discovered my birth Father’s name was Stephen Campbell. I was told that my birth mother came to WA to have me to adopt me out and that I had 3 older brothers‚ who I think were named Shane‚ Craig and Stephen.
217. PLD1971 : Born in Fremantle 1971.
Father’s name on my birth certificate is listed as Ric Morelli.
Mothers name listed as Heather.
I have met her and this search is to try and find out any information on my birth father‚ particularly medical history.
I have not been able to find any documentation of his address‚ his name in voter registration‚ immigration‚ newspaper articles etc
I have done a genealogy dna test that showed he or his family would have originally been from the Calabrian region of Italy.
218. Russleslie : Hello‚
I’m looking to find my half sister who was put up for adoption in Perth‚ WA between 1966-1969. Her birth mother was Elizabeth Beech and her birth father was Malcolm Leslie
220. RoslynnPassmore64 : (Mother) Margaret Flora Wharton
(Father)Brian Raymond Passmore
I am looking for a brother born in 1961(?) to above mother and father. The son was named Shane at birth and adopted. My mother (Margaret Flora Wharton) was 16 at the time and unmarried. She later married Brian when she turned 21 and had three children Saandra‚ Brett and Roslynn Passmore. The child may have had a name change. Roslynn Porter Nee Passmore is registered on ancestry DNA. I have little information but will add more s I find out. Thanks.
222. UnknownGirl64 : Searching for a girl born at the Crown St‚ Sydney hospital in 1964‚ she was born in either September or October 1964. The 11th October has been a date that has been mentioned.
Birth mother Diane Burns approx 17yrs old at the time of the birth‚ birth father unknown.
I don’t know where or when the adoption took place but assume that it was in NSW.
224. RowenaandDad7 : My father is James Stuart Douglas born in Perth on 7th June 1941 and grew up under the care of Stuart and Norma Olive Douglas at 23 Essex St Wembley‚ Perth W.A. My father has lived in Bundoora Victoria for more than 55 years. His mother just before her passing told my father that his real name was Laurence Maher (unsure of the spelling) and he was adopted from Sister Kates ‚ (kates kids?)‚ not far from the hospital. I am assuming this was a section of Royal Perth Hospital at the time. We only know (via heresay) that his biological mother was aboriginal and his father was of UK/European descent. DNA has matched him with first cousins in South Australia. Bart Kakoschke from SA reached out to him directly advising him that he was probably from the Johnson or Porter ancestry line.
It is my father and I who would very much like to know our ancestry. My father’s only family growing up was Norma Olive Douglas‚ there were no other siblings and his father was actually in quarantine at the time my father had to have been conceived. All our lives there were members of the family that denied knowing anything‚ did not speak about this and remain even now indifferent‚ asking me why am I so interested to know‚ namely my mother so it has been difficult over the years to feel encouraged to reach out. My father was never given a birth certificate.
Any help at all will be so very much appreciated‚ even where I should start. My father is now approaching mid eighty and he still brings up the topic with me in private.
kind regards‚
Rowena Douglas

I was matched with my birth mother just minutes after setting up my profile. It turns out that she had been searching for me for years. It's been a joy to connect with her and the rest of my biological family.
