182. DebRWal : I am searching for any old adoption records for Beryl Read‚ born either 1909 or 1910. Adoption could have been by the surname Matthews and may have taken place either in Western Australia or Victoria. Possibly was a ward of the state for the first three years.

My mother who passed away in 2017 was adopted. Since my father passed away at the end of 2023‚ I’ve been on a personal mission to find out any information on my mothers bio family. My mums birth sister and her husband have reached out to me and we keep in contact sporadically.

187. KristyButcher : My brother whom I am searching for was born to our mum Barbara Martain (DOB 1/3/1950) in 1971 near or at Fremantle hospital‚ our mother then became a Butcher by marriage after the adoption. Our fathers name is Robert Butcher (DOB 19/8/1952)
Our mother named him Darren Troy Martain or Butcher at birth but I believe that may not be his first name but you never know. I don’t have anymore information but I hope this will be a great start to finding him
188. George1965 : A long time ago a letter from some post adoption agency was sent to me. Someone from my past was searching for me. It took me a long time to respond & even then‚ I never followed through with connecting with this person. This is something I have been SO sorry for‚ but I think‚ maybe I wasn’t ready. I really hope this person understands that now‚ I’m want to connect and will.
189. Denisemarypryor : My name before adoption was Denise Gwenda Lyons(lions) and my mother’s name was barbara. My biological mother Gail Hampson (Braithwaite) was living in Northam. Working as a shop assistant. In 1965 was involved with Bill Roy Cassidy of View Tce in York. He was a clerk with the Railways in Northam.
Another possibility????

192. Samanthaapulu : I am searching on behalf of my mother.
Her birth certificate indicates she was born in Geelong Victoria June 20th‚ 1970) however this date may have been altered. Her guven name is Nerida. Her adoptive family have connections to both Victoria (Geelong) and Western Australia. My mother is of indigenous heritage confirmed by blood work.
Any information would be so helpful in hopefully connecting my mother to her family
193. Robynescotney : I am trying to find a cousin that was adopted out at birth. Most likely born between January - July 1967.
A Little girl born at St Annes Maternity hospital‚ Western Australia.
Her Father John Peter Cuming (my uncle and my mother’s half-brother) was tragically killed in a car accident 3rd May 1967. He was 18 years of age. Her mother was of a similar age if not slightly younger. If it weren’t for the accident my mother suspects there would not have been an adoption‚ but her mother was extremely young. We think her name might have been Judy Bennet (or something like this) possibly from Redcliffe - though my mother’s memory isn’t completely sure of this.
My maternal grandmother desperately wanted to adopt her‚ but the nuns at the hospital wouldn’t allow it.
I have been slightly obsessed with finding this long-lost cousin for years as I am of a similar age. I have been registered through jigsaw for several years.
I would be so thrilled to find her.
195. Krissy93 : I am the daughter of Nicole‚ birth name Samantha Batt. We have spent many years searching for her birth parents and this year started taking it more seriously‚ we are awaiting her original birth certificate so we don’t have much to go off. the information we currently have is her birth mother was English‚ around 18 (?) and my mother was the result of a short relationship with a possible truck driver.
All the details on my proifile reflect my mothers‚ I am just managing the account for her as she is anxious as to what we could possibly find.
I was matched with my birth mother just minutes after setting up my profile. It turns out that she had been searching for me for years. It's been a joy to connect with her and the rest of my biological family.
