My mother was 16 year old, Elizabeth Toogood (Mullins) from South Australia. She stayed in Roebourne Caravan Park with her Mother, Father, brother and sisters. My understanding is she looked after Ronald’s nephew and niece (Tracy De Waal) for his brother Peiter and sister-in-law Shirley, who were also staying in Roebourne Caravan Park.
My grandmother Elaine - did not approve of the pending pregnancy and moved our family to Darwin, but after Cyclone Tracy we moved to Adelaide, South Australia. There was no adoption, my mother married when I was 5 yrs old and I have been raised by my mother and stepfather.
