572. Worthy1 : My brother’s birth name, on his birth certificate, was Stewart Waterworth. He was born on the 25th February 1949 at 121 Fell Lane, Keighley, UD. Our mother’s name was Mrs Miriam Annie Waterworth, ne Price. Family hearsay has it that he was taken away for adoption within my Grandfather’s family, in Bromsgrove. He name was Christopher Price. He, and my mother were living at 10 Albert Square, Silsden UD. On his birth certificate, after the column ’Name entered after Registration’ it states ’Adopted’ - Percy Brown, Superintendent Registrar. I was only made aware of his existence a month ago (April 2021). I am his younger brother, Paul, born 15th January 1951.
574. Tina9285 : Hi Lewis im your birth mother my name is Tina you was born at home you were adopted at 4 weeks old due to unfortunate circumstances i had to make a heart breaking decision and had to do what was right for you

We have only recently learned of his birth and adoption.
We would be grateful for any information on him.
Thank you.
577. BlytheManners : Looking for John, birth name Pentelow, born to Constance Emily and Charles Pentelow of Walton, Peterborough.
Sisters Olive and Ivy, brother Thomas (Tommy) Fred adopted by Connon / Blythe family in 1937.
Constance died following childbirth, Feb 1936.
Charles died in accidental circumstances Sept 1937.
John possibly adopted by a family in Sutton Coldfield between 1936-37
580. LindaCampion : Beryl Carter gave birth to Clive Martin Carter at 134 Heathfield Rd Birmingham hospital. She was forced to give him away due to the fact she had no way to support him.
Her husband died‚ went overboard in 1958‚ they had two daughters. She had an affair in 1961 with Jack Murray a married man and not on the scene as he had a wife and children. She gave him her married name of Carter.
He was two weeks old and he left the hospital with a Mr and Mrs Stanley‚ who were too old to adopt legally we believe. Beryl changed her mind a few weeks later however when she saw how much the couple loved him she left broken hearted without him. We don’t know if he was legally adopted. She went back sometime later but the couple had moved away‚ overseas maybe?
She eventually went to Australia and looked for him afterwards with no luck. Sisters Linda And Christina looking for him now as Beryl passed away.
581. MaiMhambo : Birth father Colin HORSFIELD [DNA verified] - served British Army 27+ years from c1959 in various postings including overseas & latterly in Special Forces. BUT eventually based in / retired to Preston Lancashire. Has known legitimate children and his wife believes him have 5+ illegitimate children, some adopted [like myself] and some not [like my DNA identified half sibling] - so there are at least 3 others ’out there’. The online form only allows a limited range of years but quite simply these children could be born into the 1980s. So very general and not very helpful overview.
583. Gert70 : Hi
