301. Samalam : I am looking for my paternal half brother. My dad has told me he was adopted at birth, possibly through the Catholic Church as my father and my brothers mother were raised in and around that belief. My dad said when my brother was born he was named Martin but he doesn’t know if the adopted parents or the church would have changed the name. I think the birth mothers first name is Karen or Sharon. My father is from Coventry so I assume the adoption would have taken place within the West Midlands. My dad said he was 14/15 when his son was born so this would mean the child was born between 1974 and 1976.

312. SuzziB : My mum had a baby when she was younger 16 or 17 I think, my mum was born 1950. My mum passed 12 years ago and I’ve always thought about my older sister but never known what to do.
I think she was born June/July time but can’t be 100% on the date month or year but I can give any details on my mum.

313. Scoops : I have had confirmation by my uncle that my Dad 100% fathered a child prior to him getting with my Mum. Due to the times back then and the young age of my Dad and the girl involved‚ the child was given up for adoption. I do not know if either of them had any choice in this. I know this girl was a friend of my Mothers prior to my Mother getting with my Dad. My uncle recals the Mothers christian name as Sue - Susan‚ but does not recal the Surname. She may have been living in the Haroldhill or even Pitsea Essex or surounding areas at around the time she fell pregnant‚ or very close by. Due to my Mother and Father getting together in 1965 and my uncles memory of his age at the time we have narrowed it down to 1962 - 1965 when she would have had the baby. We are pretty sure she got sent to an unmarried mother and baby home to have the child. I know its a long shot but have heard of miracles happening in extremely difficult cases‚ and prey one day I will find my sibling and that he or she will give me the chance to meet them and get to know any other family members such as nieces and nephew.
I can’t ask my Mother as ahe has passed. I am desperate how ever to find my long lost sibling.
