I am seeking the birth name of Helen June Anderson‚ the names of her birth parents and details of the adoption.
The birth parents are believed to be Douglas Keith Holman‚ dob 15 May 1911 and Marjorie Enid Holman‚ nee Giles‚ dob 18 Aug 1912. They were residents of 14 Maesbury Street‚ Kensington‚ South Australia.
272. HomewardBound : My mother had a child in approx. 1946‚ my mother called her Grace. When she was pregnant she lived in Broken Hill‚ but went to Adelaide to have the child. She was adopted out possibly to someone that mum knew. I was born 10 years later and have just found about this sibling.
273. KarleeA : I believe it was a male child born possibly by the name of Patrick and to a Mother who was from Euroa or Violet Town in VIC.
He may have been gifted our grandfathers baggy green cricket hat in the 1990s and then later returned it.
He also may have called 3AW about being the grandson of a test cricketer.
His Mums name is possibly Jennifer. Dad was Shane.
He would be roughly in his late forties or early fifties now.
274. Helensniece : The adoptee’s mother was Helen Jean Moulds DOB 6/8/29‚ died 15/6/1960. Baby was born at Queen Victoria Hospital in Adelaide‚ we believe in 1954 or 1955 in early May. Father was listed as "unknown" as per the custom of the time but was actually Owen Pike. Mother’s parents’ names were Walter Arnold Moulds and Nellie Aitchison Moulds.
