Adopted.com is proud to offer a country-wide Adoption Reunion Registry for Australia where you can meet by mutual consent whether you've accessed your adoption records or not. From Perth to Brisbane and everywhere in between, if both parties want to meet then you can find each other on Adopted.com! In South Australia adult adoptees (18 and over) are able to access identifying information from the government, unless a veto preventing access has been submitted.

A Few of Our Members Currently Searching Within South Australia Who Chose To Be Featured

61. Michael19 : My mother went to Australia in 1950 and returned to England in 1955. I found out (after my mother passed away) that she had a daughter whilst she was in Australia, she moved around a bit staying in Melbourne,Brisbane and Hobart (Tasmania). I have checked government adoption depts in mainland Australia and there is no record of any adoptions with a birth mother named Dorothy Ward so I’m assuming that the birth was in Tasmania in 1953.
