98. Happykez : Hello, I’m searching for my daughter whom I gave up for adoption in Adelaide, South Australia in 1997. Not a day goes by that I don’t think of her. I named her Caitlyn when she was born. At the time of the adoption I agreed for it to be open so that if she ever wanted to find me she could. For the first couple of years her adoptive parents would send me updates with photos and news of her, then I requested not to receive them anymore as I found it terribly hard, I wish I had never stopped getting that information. I chose her parents, I know they were teachers, and that shortly after her adoption they also adopted another little girl. When she left I sent a letter and a teddy with her for her adoptive parents to give to her when she was old enough to understand and so she could read something from me and know how much I love her. If any of this makes sense to anyone please get in touch. I have missed you every single day. You were born in the Lyall McEwin Hospital
