366. Jemmamay89 : I am looking for my birth children who were adopted. Their names were Alicia Paige may mcminn and Lewis Morgan may mcminn.
Alicia and Lewis were born in Nottingham.
They were taken from me at the age of 5 and 6 years old. Alicia is now aged 18 and Lewis will be 17 in November.
I have never stopped searching for them and I am trying to find them. They were forced adoption. My children I loved more than anything in this world and I will forever be trying to find them.
367. Mandymoo51 : My father was adopted to a family in Bottesford. His adopted name is Stephen James Parr. I am unsure if he is still alive as my parents divorced when i was about 1yr old. I was in contact with him from around 1995 to 2000‚ however i have had no contact with him since.
I was told by my mum that he was born in Nottingham and this is where his adoption took place‚ i believe the adoption was when he was about 1 year old. I was told his birth name was Michael but this was changed to Stephen due to there already being a Michael in the Parr family. From hunting birth records i believe his birth name may have been Michael Beavis‚ however i could be totally wrong!
I wish to find the names of his birth family so that i can see where this takes me with my family tree and to see how i am connected with the dna result matches i have got as currently its all something of a mystery!
368. Caroleorton1947 : I would like to make contact with my sister who was adopted. Hi‚ my name is Michael Orton‚ my mothers name was Caroline Orton‚ born 1912 in Yorkshire. My mum had a daughter born August 13th 1947 after she had separated from my dad. Her new partners name at the time was George Harry Pearce. The baby was adopted‚ I am trying to find out if you are that person. You would have been born in the Beeston area of Nottingham.
369. Ruth74 : I am looking for my daughter. She was born in Nottingham City Hospital and was adopted by Roger & Wendy through the Church of England children’s society.
370. JohnLane : Hi‚ I'm looking for a brother‚ possibly two. I've met one a long time ago. His name is Colin‚ lived in Birmingham and had at the time‚ one daughter and I'd love to meet him again. Though I've recently been informed by a friend of the family (Brophy) that I possibly had two half brothers.
My mother was in a previous marriage from 1963 and lived at the time in east London. She re-married in 1973 to my father. She was very quiet about her past‚ but it's something I need to explore.
