346. Brentingham : I was adopted at birth. I was born in Mother’s Hospital in Durban South Africa. I am looking for my biological parents.
347. CarlyFriars : All I know is that I was born at the Mothers hospital in Durban (but it could have listed as Addington hospital on my record) and that my birth parents were supposedly 2 university students. My birth name is Carly Jade Friars but I don't know if the spelling is correct. I was adopted in Durban when I was approximately 2 weeks old. I am trying to find any biological family.
349. CarlyFriars : My adopted name is Natasha and I was adopted at approximately 2 weeks old‚ in January 1980. I was adopted in Durban by Lorraine and Terence (a British couple). My adoptive father thinks my birth name was Carly Friars (correct spelling unknown). I am searching for any biological family.
351. JakeDK : I have no knowledge other than a story from the adoption home‚ whom stated that my father had passed away in a car crash‚ so I was delivered to the home by his roommate
352. Childofthe60s : Born surname ABBOTT.
Durban Mothers Home KZN.Durban Child Welfare .

353. Deon298 : Hi‚ i have sibling that was born between 1982 and 1985‚ in R. K Khans hospital‚ situated in Chatsworth of KwaZulu-Natal natal‚ indian‚ im not sure if male or female.... My alias is Jarrod King. Mothers name_Pushparani Pillay
354. NetanyaMason : So looking for my half sister since I knew she existed…
My mother was young (born 01/09/1950) and social workers would not allow my mother to keep her baby (financially and age/ they didn’t think my mother and her mother (a single parent) could support a baby - the baby/ my sister would have been born in 1966 or 1967 after my mum spent time in a home for unwed mothers the baby girl would have been adopted from Addington Hospital in Natal (renamed to Kwazulu-Natal)‚ Durban South Africa.
My mom named the baby Yvette (although it’s unknown if the name would have been kept)
We received a letter in the post when I was in my teens.. the letter was angry and said that a private detective had been hired to find my mom and that we would never see her again (she had married her school professor and had two sons) - I chose not to give the letter to my mom…
If you are out there please make contact‚ I would imagine there are lots of negative stories you tell yourself to understand why you might have been given up for adoption - they are all wrong!! You were loved by mom from the moment she set eyes on you (loved by me too that’s why I’ve been searching for you for so long!!)
I was matched with my birth mother just minutes after setting up my profile. It turns out that she had been searching for me for years. It's been a joy to connect with her and the rest of my biological family.
