A Few of Our Members Currently Searching Within Hawaii Who Chose To Be Featured
286. JenMcBride82 : I am searching for a few people actually. First would be my birth grandparents. My Dad was adopted out when he was 6 weeks old. My adoptive grandparents gave him the name Kenneth Emerson and he was born 11/22/56 at Tripler Army Hospital in Honolulu, HI. This is a long shot but I need to find them for medical history at the very least.
Secondly, I need to find my mother’s father. He was in the Army and believed to be of Irish or Scottish decent. My mother, Mildred Schmidt, was born 3/28/48 to Ilse Schmidt, in Wiesbaden, Germany. My grandfather wasn’t allowed to be around because my grandmother’s family didn’t like that he was American. The last time my mother seen him, she was 4 years old, she remembers he has Strawberry blonde hair. (The picture above is a picture of my mother’s mom)
287. DanielleTupua : My Father had a son in College at the Kapiolani Hospital Doctor Nakata and Doctor Merikitane were the ones who assisted in this birth. My dad was there going to church college and got this girl pregnant and they were both young and afraid to get kicked out of school. The doctors and the bio mom without my dad knowing decided that his son would be given up for adoption. But there was no record of the adoption. No birth certificate or record of the baby. My dad held him and saw that he was a healthy baby boy and then when he returned. the baby was taken. He has searched so long for him and even went to the hospital to look for a birth certificate or something. But there was no record of the baby. Please please please I want to find my Brother.
288. DanielleTupua : I had a son in College at the Kapiolani Hospital Doctor Nakata and Doctor Merikitane were the ones who assisted in this birth both were Japanese doctors as I can remember. His birth mother Bernadette Tahiata and I Danny Tapeta Tupua are both of Tahitian descent both attending Church College in Hawaii at the time of his birth. Bernadette and the doctors without my knowing decided that he would be given up for adoption. Both attending college the Doctors told Bernadette not to worry about the baby and that the would take the baby and she can return to school without it being reported. I dont know what or how they did it but there was no record of him or the adoption. No birth certificate that I am aware of or record of him to my understanding. I held him the morning of his birth and saw that he was a healthy baby boy and then when returned he was gone. I have searched so long for him and even went to the hospital to look for a birth certificate or any records and have had no luck. Please I would love to be able to meet him and make sure that he is okay and that he is doing okay. I would love to have a relationship with him only if he is willing to. But I just want to make sure he is doing good.
289. KatharineMoonflower4 : My name is Pamela Hepworth and I’m looking for my daughter who I gave up for adoption.
The birth father is Douglas Hole.
She was born in Alabama sometime between March 17-24th of 1968, I believe.
Please help me find her!
291. Alohaflava : Looking for my sister. Im not sure, but I believe she was born between 1972-1974 in Hawaii at kapiolani hospital. I don’t have much information.
292. Cprickett16 : His name is Jeffrey Borden, adoptive parents are Ralph and Marjorie Borden. He has an adoptive brother, Brian and his adoptive parents have one biological son, Kent.
296. Maurysuzuki : Hoping to find my mother’s adopted brother. He was born in 1960 in Honolulu. The birth mother is of Japanese and Hawaiian descent. Please contact me if you think you have any information!
298. Rosannamariewest : I gave up my baby girl in a closed adoption through the LDS church to a couple in Utah who were a part of the mormon church. I received picture up to one year old‚ one in a hat at the beach perhaps in Scottsdale‚ Arizona. Another picture was with a purple or blue beret. I also sent along a red bordered baby blanket with a giraffe and other cartoon animals on it that I’d put together. My matching blanket and pictures were stolen years ago. I have blue eyes and red hair. Her birth father had brown to hazel eyes and darker blonde hair. I updated this profile today‚ August 5th‚ 2025 two months after her 30th birthday.
300. AmnesiaWes : I am looking for a male child born in Honolulu, Hawaii with a birthdate of between July 15-17, 1970. I am Caucasian/Asian with green/hazel eyes, with black hair, with his mother being Asian with brown hair and brown eyes. He was placed through Catholic Charities of Hawaii. We were both very young and irresponsible, and I regret every day not having the opportunity to raise this child born out of true love...
I was matched with my birth mother just minutes after setting up my profile. It turns out that she had been searching for me for years. It's been a joy to connect with her and the rest of my biological family.
