271. Tatitunes : I am trying to find my Father. I am aware my mother is Karline Baker but the person who is listed as my Father on my certificate may not be blood related- I am wanting to say hello before he leaves us as I am already 29 years old. Kind Regards
272. Tracybraun : Searching for my fathers birth mother ‚ he was adopted by Robert Henry Smith and his wife Susan Mary Fuller married in 1900 at St Lukes Victoria docks Essex
274. Monkeyman1188 : Josephine Williams was apparently kidnapped and taken to live in bexhill on sea.
She lives on a farm.
There was a story of Josephine walking on bexhill downs when she was 13 years old.
She gave birth to a child at 15 years old. No idea of name at the time.
This baby was taken from her and adopted by a couple.
Adopted parents were:
Winifred Patricia mochan 1906-1981
Walter Ernest Frederick dye 1914-1991
The child was given the name Michael dye at adoption‚ they lived in Portsmouth while Michael grew up‚ until about 10 years old or somewhere around that time.
Walter went off to war and was captured. Came back around 1946. He then left Winifred due to war changing him.
Real mother Josephine also had another child later on called Eileen in 1948‚ with a different father to Michael.
Michael and Eileen are half siblings.
I’m trying to find anyone who lived in bexhill in 1930’s to 1939‚ seeing if anyone knows of Josephine or the 15 year old that gave birth.
275. EstherRose6 : Looking for my Uncle‚ Broderick L Price‚ born 1948 to parents Lucy Manning and Francis Price‚ in Eastbourne‚ East SUSSEX.
I believe they were given up for adoption in 1949‚ if not earlier.
Looking for any information on him or any close family to him.
277. PaulaBlack1066 : I am looking for my nephew who was adopted in the summer of 1985. You are spoken about often and we always hope that your life has been fantastic.
285. Dfcj6668 : I was born at the Buchanan hospital in St. Leonards-on-Sea in 1990 and was subsequently adopted to Brighton on 01.10.1990
I already hold the details of my adoption‚ including the names of my birth mother (Linda Jayne Message‚ from St. Leonard’s ) and my birth father (Stephen Wilde‚ who I believe had links to the Merchant Navy and the Hastings/St Leonards area around 1989/1990).
I was matched with my birth mother just minutes after setting up my profile. It turns out that she had been searching for me for years. It's been a joy to connect with her and the rest of my biological family.
