167. MaiMhambo : Birth father Colin HORSFIELD [DNA verified] - served British Army 27+ years from c1959 in various postings including overseas & latterly in Special Forces. BUT eventually based in / retired to Preston Lancashire. Has known legitimate children and his wife believes him have 5+ illegitimate children, some adopted [like myself] and some not [like my DNA identified half sibling] - so there are at least 3 others ’out there’. The online form only allows a limited range of years but quite simply these children could be born into the 1980s. So very general and not very helpful overview.

169. Jeanblaney : Looking for the brother I never met but rember mum being pregnant and feeling him kick in her , I was excited to meet the new baby but never did as he was adopted. I was 3 or 4 years old and my parents never spoke about him until I was almost 30 when I finally asked . I was told that he was a boy and they named him Ian . Mum said she thought of him everyday but sadly she never saw him again and has now passed away . I can’t stop wondering if he has looked for his birth mum and if he has unanswered questions. I hope he has had a good childhood and has been safe and well throughout his life. I would love to meet him
171. Birth57 : I am looking for my birth parents .My mother’s name is Carmel Monica Mcloughlin.I understand that at the time of my birth was living in St Albans Herts and was a state registered nurse working at the City hospital in St Albans Herts
172. KarenAskew : I’m looking for my son and Daugher who where adopted by their mum & Dad Tony & Andrew who at that point lived in the Uk.
My children’s names are Danielle & Scott .
Danielle’s birth name was Danni .
I used letter box contact and had sent many letters . They then informed me years later there was a final letter which explains that my two children where moved to Canada since then I’ve received nothing more from them. I’m desperate to find my children however Danielle is the only one until next year that is Legally old enough for me to find.
I do not know where to begin.
173. KirstyE1977 : I am looking for the final piece of my adoption puzzle‚ my younger (middle) brother. I know he is in mid 40s‚ I am 48 and i belive he is around 2/3years younger. Was born in East Sussex‚ possibly Eastbourne‚ and was adopted at a young age. He was named Darren and was the son of Louise Baker‚ and his Grandparents are the Spill family‚ his father’s name was Nicholas Underdown.
174. Hollymay1990 : My mother beverley logan, sadly made the choice of having her son who she named Scott logan, on his birth certificate adopted as she new in her heart she was too young to care for her baby as well as she would have liked too, she was only 15 at the time, she has a picture of him
When he was 3-4 months old and my little girl reminds her of him, I know my mum would love to know who Scott , now Nathan is, she is very scared of rejection therefore after all of these years , I am taking it apon my self to find my brother, who I would love in my life, however if this is not what he would like, I would just like to know, instead of thinking , and wondering who he may be.
If you see this, please could you come forward- I know that Nathan’s birth place was Hastings or Rye in East Sussex, in may.
My mum thinks his adopted dad owned a farm, and has twin brothers.
