254. Harrietannebown : I am researching family history and Harriet Murray born to Eleanor and George Murray 17/04/1891‚ she appears to have disappeared. I have however come across a 1901 census claiming a 9/10 year old girl named Harriet Murray has been adopted by John and Isabella Simpson. I am curious to know if this young girl is indeed my biological 2nd cousin. Her biological father passed away in 1894 and I fear her mother gave her up for adoption because she could not afford to keep her.
I was matched with my birth mother just minutes after setting up my profile. It turns out that she had been searching for me for years. It's been a joy to connect with her and the rest of my biological family.
