187. Lizzie95 : I’m looking for my maternal grandmother/family as my mum was adopted in 1963 at around 6 months old.
My grandmothers maiden name is: Patricia Ann Nunn. We know she was around 17 years old at time.
My mum was born in Bridgnorth.
188. Cath8681 : My Biological mother was Irene Smith. George Wright is on my birth certificate but this was my mother’s husband, not my father, they married in 1949. I contacted George when searching for my mother in the late 1980s, she had died. He told me I had two half brothers Ken (1949) and Denis (1950), his biological children. I was the result of an affair. He said I may have other full siblings, but didn’t give me any more information. When George passed away I was contacted by Ken who said there was at least one other child. We lost touch but I always wondered. I did some research on Ancestry - there were three possible siblings born in the Darlington Area, County Durham listed as Wright with mother Smith:
Kathleen M Wright b.1951, Christine Wright 1957, Derek E Right 1957. I was born Jean Wright 1955.
My name was changed by my parents and I’m Susan Jean I’d be interested in getting in touch, I’ve tried in the past but always drawn a blank.
191. LauraLouise1991 : I am searching for my brother whom was adopted in the 1980s. Primarily born in York and i believe was adopted to a family in the Redcar area of Teesside.
Birth mother known as Sharon.
193. McHoll : We are looking for Paul Holland born on 10th March 1965 in the Ealing area.
We have only recently learned of his birth and adoption.
We would be grateful for any information on him.
Thank you.
194. ROBSTEWARTNEAL : My name is Robert and I am looking for my (half) sister ’Julie Anne’ (Stewart) who was reluctantly given up for adoption 17th Sept 1964 by my mother Elizabeth Stewart and her partner at the time Peter Beal later to become her husband. Her birth was registered in the Portsmouth district with ref 6B 986: St. Mary’s hospital, Portsmouth. I have no info as to who or where she may have been adopted but I’m guessing Hampshire or Sunderland. Please contact me.
195. Samthor1 : I was born Sharron Todd, my mother is Evelyn Todd. I was born at Bishop Auckland hospital and all I know is my family came from Bowes village. I was 6 weeks old and adopted in September 1962, im desperate to find any living relatives as im now 59 without any living adoptive family left so I’d love to hear from anyone.
I was matched with my birth mother just minutes after setting up my profile. It turns out that she had been searching for me for years. It's been a joy to connect with her and the rest of my biological family.
