Possibly in Whangarei region. Unfortunately this is all the information I have. Would love to make contact with either of my birth parents. Not after a relationship or to know the reason why. I would just like to know where Im from and have some family medical history. I havent been able to have my own children‚ so feeling a bit alone not knowing where I am from and not having anyone to carry on after me.

178. PaulGiblin96 : I was born in Auckland‚ New Zealand on July 20th 1960‚ to a young woman named Kyra. I believe she was 18 years old‚ single‚ & training as a Nurse. She named me David‚ but my adopted family named me Paul. I had a great childhood & was raised in a loving family of 4 children (2 adopted sisters‚ 1 older brother) by 2 wonderful people who sadly both passed away at 77 years of age. I would love to meet Kyra‚ but realise she would now be approximately 80‚ so I may have left it to late in searching her out. I would appreciate any information that might assist me in my search to find out a little more about my Birth Mum. If my story rings a bell in your dim dark past‚ & you could steer me in the right direction to find Kyra or any possible siblings I may have‚ please let me know‚ it would be greatly appreciated.

180. BonnieRose : My dad was adopted in late 1954 or early 1955. I’m not certain of exact dates of birth and adoption‚ it was all hush hush‚ but he had believed he was born in Auckland on the 28/12/1954. He was likely adopted within days‚ but he may have been born somewhere other than Auckland. Unfortunately‚ he has since passed away. It was not known to him that he was adopted until he was in his 40’s and he was told it was a secret adoption‚ and the only information available was that his mother was married - possibly to a sailor or in the navy‚ he had at least 3 - possibly 4 birth siblings‚ 2 of which may have been twins. Unsure if the navy/sailor was his biological dad or not. My dad was Caucasian‚ very fair skinned‚ very blue eyes‚ very blonde hair as an infant and child‚ that became brown as an adult. I am searching for his birth family‚ though he has passed away‚ for myself because I believe his adoption means I am also half adopted‚ not knowing my own family. I would like to know my ancestry‚ and to be able to share this with my two sons.
