The only thing I know is that she was born with Talipes but was otherwise healthy & was given up for adoption soon after birth‚ I think. My dad was born around 1949-1951 in New Zealand not sure where but that it was in the North Island, he was adopted to family friends of the birth mum. Don’t know the name of either of the birth parents but know that his biological father was a American soldier that returned to America.
8. Insearchofanuncle : I myself was adopted out as a baby. I have since found some of my birth family. I am now on the hunt for an Uncle that was also adopted out. I believe my uncle was born in 1949 and he was named Errol Spencer. I don’t know what month he was born. He may have lived with his parents for a few years before he was fostered or adopted out to a family within Auckland or greater New Zealand. His birth family showed they lived in Mangere Bridge for a time. His parents went on to have another child a year or two after he was born‚ a sister‚ my birth mother. On Errol’s Birth Certificate it could show as Father: Jack‚ John‚ Theodore or Quinton. Mother either as‚ Muriel or and Dorothy. It would be nice to make the connection before it’s too late.

LarissaOz : I am searching on behalf of my mother, she was sent away at 15yrs of age when her parents found out about the pregnancy, to live(and work) at a doctor’s private residence, the baby boy was taken away from her immediately after the birth. I wish to connect with my half brother. My mother’s name was Sharon Howlett & the birth father’s name was Tony(I don’t know his last name as my mother has not seen him since ’the incident’)

11. Tribeofasher : Looking for the birth mother of a boy born possibly in Tor Bay, Auckland NZ on Jan 3 1952. He may have been called Neville possibly by his mother, who was believed to be a nurse, around 21 years old. We have no information about the baby’s father. This boy was adopted as a very new baby by a professional couple, and renamed. He is tall, fair skinned, blond / light brown hair and blue / green eyes. His son, who now has children of his own, is interested in any detail about his grandmother, grandfather or other family who may recognise this detail. Thank you
