577. Nancyparmentier : My son would like to find his birth mother. He was born in Kazan on April 19‚ 2002. His name was Ramil Abdurakhmanovich Safarov. His mother’s name was given as Dilafruz Safarova. He was born in an ambulance and left at the hospital. The hospital staff indicated that they thought the mother was Tadjik. He spent 4 months in the hospital before being moved to Baby Home #2 in Kazan. We adopted Ramil in September of 2003.

Our guide in Russia who signed most of the translated documents and brought us to the orphanage, courthouse etc. was Golov Viktor Aleksandrovich. Most documents were signed by him at the Adoption Centre in St. Petersburg in July of 1999.
