320. Larissa98 : I was found at the address of 9 Derpsky Lane, in the Nevsky District of St Petersburg, Russia on 29th July 1998. My birthdate was estimated to be 29th of May 1998, but I do not know for sure when I was born, or even exactly how old I was when I was found.
I was found by a policewoman (she was originally from Ukraine and has since moved back there, I believe), named Natalia Savchenko. I was originally named Lidia Nikolayevna Savchenko, after her. The policewoman worked at the police station #77 of the Admiralteysky District, and that is where she took me before taking me to Children’s Hospital #15 of St Petersburg.
On 11th August 1998, I was moved from the hospital to Detsky Dom #12 (Orphanage #12, which has now been closed forever). My Birth was registered in the Nevsky District Registry Office on August 26, 1998.
I was adopted the 3rd of February 1999, and have lived in New Zealand since then.
That is all the information I know regarding my birth. I have previously tried another search method, which was to no avail, but I want to give it another try.
I am aware that there is a high chance of this coming to nothing, seeing that nothing whatsoever is known about my parentage or other family members. However, I would greatly appreciate any information that is able to be found, if it is to be.

My birth name and birth middle name were given to me by staff, however in Russia tradition, your middle name includes your father’s name. My middle name is Ivanovna, I don’t know if this has any correlation to my real father, but I would love to find them. That is all the information I know regarding my birth parents. Thank you.

I was matched with my birth mother just minutes after setting up my profile. It turns out that she had been searching for me for years. It's been a joy to connect with her and the rest of my biological family.
