Example‚ the pregnant mom stayed in a home for pregnant mothers and the fathers family paid for that costs. There was also mentioning that the father was the son of a farmer‚ which did not want his son to marry the pregnant mom. They were both very young. The sister of my husbands adopted father knew more about the adoption. It seems that she did not want us to know who the father was. When my husbands father died‚ the same aunt took me to a separate room after the funeral. She asked me if I want to meet my husbands real grandmother. Of course I wanted to.
There was not much words and moment was kept short.
I always thought afterwards that perhaps his real mother was at that funeral also. The adopted mothers name is Joey. I cannot remember her surname or age. My husband met her a few years back after I managed to found her.
My one son‚ 28 years old‚ recently became depressed and distressed about the idea that his surname is Muller‚ but his blood is not Muller. He never thought about it in that way. He now has the same urge as my husband to know where he come from. He was also diagnosed with glaucoma at this young age. We wondered if this is perhaps a family illness from the biological parents.
And me as a mother‚ my boys blood family is out there and we would love to meet them‚ of course only if they were willing.
