I now live in Australia and am desperate to find my father’s birth family, for my mother who is still alive and lives in Cape Town, and is suffering from dementia, but still has a fairly good long term memory. My father lived at Magdalena Home in Cape Town when he was born, but we are unsure at what age he was adopted by the du Toit family.
