219. Milomilk : My brother was born on 28 September 1972 in Mowbray Maternity Hospital, Cape Town, South Africa. His mother’s name was Andra le Grange. She was one of 12/13 children. It is believed that her father worked for Old Mutual Company. At the time of the baby’s birth she was believed to be 20 years old. His biological father was older, believed to be an explosive expert working in the mines. The baby was registered as Anton le Grange. The last information I got was that Andra is married and lives in Namibia. I would like to find one of her siblings or his biological father.

221. 339430 : I am searching for next of kin of Catherina Burger - she had a daughter on 25th December 1938, named her Carol, kept her for 3 months and then personally handed her over to the adoptive parents Nee Stemmett family in the March/April 1939. I am hoping to connect with family of hers, sisters, brother, or additional siblings she may have had in the hope to be in contact with any next of kin, I am of the opinion that she lived in Cape Town in the Rondebosch or surrounding area. We are three sibblings of Lynnette Stemmet (Johnson), our first born sister was at the Vista Nova School which in the 70’s was a hostel/boarding school for children with learning disabilities or vision impaired as in her case, we have reason to believe that the hostel mother was this Catherine/Katherine Burger who is the biological grandmother, the birthmother of our mother Lynette Stemmett, we are desperately trying to locate any family of this woman as we believe she went on to marry and have additional children, so we are of the opinion that there could be cousins of ours in our age group 50 - 60 who could be the offspring of Katherine/Catherine Burger, we were only told at the time that this was her surname that was recorded, we have no knowledge of who the birthfather was but we have reason to believe that our mother came from a very gifted musical background as she herself was a musical prodigy. PLease if anyone out there could help in the search, I would be very greatful, Many thanks Vanessa Glaus (Nee Johnson)
