470. Andrewturton01 : Looking for either my birth parents or any siblings i may have. I know my birth mother was very young when i was born and know it was probably down to family pressures to have me adopted. I was adopted between May 1967 and October 1967 in Leeds through a private adoption solicitor. I was very blonde haired, weighed around 8lbs at birth, have a light skin pigmentation on my right shoulder. I was born in leeds, west yorkshire, adopted from the same. My adopted parents were named Turton and i went to live in Birstall from adoption. I have found the 1st photo taken of me when my adopted parents took me home, which is my profile picture. Hopefully it may ring a few memories for someone.

I am look for our half sister her name at birth was CLAIRE DENISE WHITELEY possible her surname could have been changed HARRISON born in 1986 Bradford West Yorkshire. I believe the family is still living in the Bradford area.
Our father Bruce M Whiteley and her mother BEVERLY ASHWORTH were married & split when she was 18 months old. There is a possibility her mother has remarried and changed Claire’s surname to Harrison. Our father then married my mum in 1987 and had me Lee B Whiteley in 89 and Gary D Whiteley in 90 and divorced my mum in 92, our surnames where changed to my step fathers Palfreman. Our father may of married someone else and did the same to them I have found one sister called Shauna. If anyone could help to find Claire it would be amazing as I believe she is the oldest and may not know about any of us!!! Please share our post and help as find our sister. thank you
477. Davet3212 : I was born in Yorkshire‚ I think Leeds but can't be sure. Unsure if my birth mum named me or not but before my adoption‚ in the care system I was known as 'Chris'. My DOB is September 21 1999 (could be wrong as I've never been able to find an original birth certificate) and I believe social services separated me and my birth mum very early on and I was in foster care for a short while in or around leeds before being adopted aged roughly 6 months. I know I have biological siblings who I believe had disabilities and were also put up for adoption. I've very little info other than this as I don't want my adoptive parents to know I am looking.
478. Firefly84 : My boy was born in pinderfieds hospital I just want to know he’s doing well and been looked after prolly as I worry about him every day his name is Alex Andrew Holt in his biological mum his biological father died when I was seven week pregnant
479. Worthy1 : My brother’s birth name, on his birth certificate, was Stewart Waterworth. He was born on the 25th February 1949 at 121 Fell Lane, Keighley, UD. Our mother’s name was Mrs Miriam Annie Waterworth, ne Price. Family hearsay has it that he was taken away for adoption within my Grandfather’s family, in Bromsgrove. He name was Christopher Price. He, and my mother were living at 10 Albert Square, Silsden UD. On his birth certificate, after the column ’Name entered after Registration’ it states ’Adopted’ - Percy Brown, Superintendent Registrar. I was only made aware of his existence a month ago (April 2021). I am his younger brother, Paul, born 15th January 1951.
