333. TraceyCruise1929 : William born around 1954 Leeds and maybe lived in Ilkley, West Yorkshire. Mother was called Sheila Turner. Maybe joined the Army as a young man.
335. JEScott96 : Hi, I am looking for a man named Allan Plane, born in April, May or June 1963. Allan Plane was his birth name and was put her for adoption. I am looking for him on behalf of his biological sister Linda, who is my Grandmother.
337. StephanieYvonne : I’m looking to find both my brothers who were adopted out of the family I have searched for many years it’s torn me apart over the years of just like to know that they are ok and how they are doing in life I feel like part of me is missing
338. Mellysilverwood : My name is Melanie, I was born in Leeds. My birth mother is Petra Wils. I am searching for her. My father’s name is Robin Gwilliams. I know very little about her.... she met my dad when he was in the army based in Germany & she travelled to England with him briefly which is where I was born. Shortly after she returned to Germany leaving me with my father who unfortunately could not look after me. I was brought up by my father’s sister who had 3 other children at the time. I was approx 9 months old when this happened and have never had any contact with her. I am 42 this year and would love to find her or at least know something about her.
342. Livvi : I was born in Leeds. My Mum, Doreen Harland, kept me and received financial support from my birth father until I was 15/16. Mum married the guy I call, and regard, as my Dad when I was around a year old. Mum died several years ago. I have a photo of my birth father and Mum taken in the Lake District, I think. I also think he may have been called Desmond.
When was 15/16 I required a passport, and then discovered that my surname was Harland, not Walker as I was known. I was legally adopted by Dad, and recall attending Wetherby Magistrates Court to effect that. I have never felt the need to explore this until now, but sadly have no one alive who can give me the information.
345. ElizabethFawcettst : Hello Josephine that is your birth name, I want you to know I love you and I did what I did because I couldn’t give you what you have now. You were born in Clarendon Leeds very early in the morning I remember it every day. Your mum sent me a lovely letter I knew then I did the right thing,I knew they would bring you up with God.
I was matched with my birth mother just minutes after setting up my profile. It turns out that she had been searching for me for years. It's been a joy to connect with her and the rest of my biological family.
